الكتابات السياسية، وهو عبارة عن نصوص جمعها وترجمها من الفرنسية وقدم لها عبد السلام الشدادي. وأوضح الأستاذ الشدادي في توطئته للكتاب أنه كان من المفروض أن يكون هذا الجزء، الذي نشر بدعم من وزارة الثقافة، أول ما ينشر في إطار مشروعه لترجمة الكتابات السياسية لجان جاك روسو في أربعة أجزاء، إلا أن نشره تأخر لأسباب طارئة. وأبرز أن هذا الجزء يشتمل على الأعمال السياسية الثلاثة الأولى لروسو، وهي «الخطاب في العلوم والآداب»، و «الخطاب في أصل التفاوت وأسسه»، و «الخطاب في الاقتصاد السياسي»، وهي أعمال ذات أهمية بالغة في تطور الفكر السياسي لروسو.
