يتناول الكتاب الفترة من بداية خلق البشرية، مرورا بخلق حواء، وأول فتنة حدثت في الأرض من قتل ابن آدم لأخيه، والحديث عن الأنبياء، إلى مولد بهرام جور، الذي ولد سنة 406م، وتوفي في سنة 438م، وكذلك مقتل يزدجرد بن بهرام جور سنة 438م، وهما من ملوك فارس، وهذه التواريخ كلها قبل ميلاد النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بقرن ونصف من الزمان تقريبا حيث ولد النبي صلى الله علية وسلم سنة 571م.
