يتلمس الكاتب السعودي \"محمد إبراهيم الدبيسي\" علاقة المكان في الشعر بوصفه مكونا يتجاوز علاقة الإنسان الوجودية بالمكان، ويغذي الشعرية بطاقات يستمدها الشاعر من خلال وعيه بالوجود والأشياء، وشعوره بالمتغيرات، ومعايشته للمراحل والأحوال التي تمر بالمكان، ومقاومته لسلطة الفناء وتأسيسا على هذا التصور، تحاول هذه الدراسة مقاربة المكان من خلال موضوعها: (وادي العقيق عند شعراء المدينة المنورة في القرن الرابع عشر الهجري) ملتزمة بمحدَّديها المكاني والزماني، ومحاولة استظهار العقيق في وعي هؤلاء الشعراء، وضبط التمايزات والفوارق بينهم في الوعي والتصور والتعبير.
