Overview
(طبيب فاس) هي رواية تاريخية لهيرمان شخابيغ تسرد أحداث الرحلة الأولى التي قام بها الرحالة الألماني جيرهارد رولفز إلى المغرب سنة 1861، أي في النصف الثاني من القرن 19، حيث كان المغرب في تلك الفترة محط أطماع عدد من الدول، على رأسها إسبانيا وإنجلترا وفرنسا. كما تتطرق الرواية إلى العلاقة التي جمعت بين رولفز وكبير شرفاء الزاوية الوزانية، الحاج عبد السلام، الذي كان معجبا بكل ما هو أوروبي، وتبين ذلك بجلاء في طريقة استقباله لرولفز، وفي الصداقة الوطيدة التي جمعت بينهما.
