إن الابتسامة واحدة من أهم أدوات التعبير التي نمتلكها في لغة الجسد ؛ فحين تصدر من قلب مغعم بالصفاء والضياء تسهم بنصيب وافر مما تنفرد به الكائنات البشرية عن غيرها من الكائنات. وهي تعبير للوجه تتشكل من عضلاته القريبة من طرفي الفم وحول العينين، وتعبر عن السرور والسعادة والتسلية، ويمكن أن تكون إشارة عن القلق غير الطوعي، والابتسامة أمر يفهمه جميع الناس على الرغم من اختلاف ثقافاتهم وأعراقهم ودياناتهم ؛ لأنها وسيلة اتصال بين جميع البشر، فحري بنا أن نرسم الابتسامة على وجه من نعرف ومن لانعرف. إنها الدليل على رضاك بما أعطاك الله إياه، وهي شعار انبثق من بيت النبوة ؛ ليكون علامة فارقة للشخص المسلم، فالعالم بمختلف عقائده وأفكاره يبتسم ؛ لمعرفته بأهمية الابتسامة، ونحن جزء من هذا العالم، وقبل هذا كله نحن أمة الرسول المبتسم صلى الله عليه وسلم الذي أمرنا بالابتسامة، وجعل فيها الأجر والمثوبة، ورسم لنا فيها الصحة والسعادة والعلاقة والمحبة.
