الإنسان سر الوجود الأعظم .. هذه الفكرة التي أرادت لمياء نويرة بوكيل قولها في هذه المجموعة البديعة. إنها السلك الناظم لحباتها، الذي أطل على روح الإنسان من زوايا عدة : اتصاله بالكائنات، امتزاج المتناقضات داخله، مستقبله في عالم يسحق ملامحه، عنفوان الأمومة، حق الأنثى في الوصاية على جسدها وعلى مصيرها كله، وكذلك من حيث هو آدمي لا يحجب إنسانيته لون أو عرق أو معتقد، نبض كوني تستجيب له عناصر الوجود إن هو أخلص نيته وكان صاحب إيمان وإرادة. لقد قاتل طائر الكوليبري الصغير حريقا هائلا بمنقاره الصغير فاستجابت له السماء وعمت أرضه بالنعيم. وفي حكمة أيوب تجلت قدرة الإنسان على الإخضاع، بعكس بوتيرو الذي أخصبت روحه حتى تولد من ثرائها عوالم وكائنات.
