يعد العلاج بالقراءة طريقة علاجية لها جذور ممتدة وبعيدة، وتتفق أهدافها مع ظروف المرضى وحاجاتهم، وتتعدد أنماطها، وتتنوع مناهجها وأساليبها لتناسب مختلف الحالات المرضية، وكان شغفي واهتمامي بهذه الطريقة العلاجية قد شجعني على تطبيق هذا النوع من العلاج على حالات فردية وجماعية تعاني من مختلف الأمراض النفسية والاضطرابات السلوكية، وبالتطبيق والمتابعة سجلت الحالات مستويات عالية من الشفاء والتخلص من الضغوط والاضطرابات ؛ فحرصت في هذا الكتاب على تقديم تجربتي مع العلاج بالقراءة بدءا من الناحية النظرية وصولا للجانب العملي التطبيقي ليكون عونا للمعالجين والمرشدين والدارسين.
