ينقسم هذا البحث إلى فصلين يسبقهما فصل تمهيدي نتناول فيه التنظيم القانوني لبراءات الاختراعات دوليا وداخليا، لنبحث المدى القانوني لاهتمامات الاتفاقيات الدولية بوضع تنظيم لبراءات الاختراعات وذلك في الاتفاقيات التي تهتم بحماية الملكية الفكرية، ومنها اتفاقية باريس واتفاقية برن واتفاقية التربس، وذلك في مبحث أول، وفي مبحث ثان نتناول التنظيم القانوني لبراءات الاختراعات في القانون الداخلي، وذلك قبل وبعد نفاذ قانون حماية حقوق الملكية الفكرية رقم 82 لسنة 2002، ونتناول في الفصل الأول براءة الاختراع، ونتناول في الفصل الثاني أحكام براءات اختراعات العمال القانونية.
