كتاب صغير عبارة عن 97 صفحة يحتوي على 5 حكايات شعبية من مدينة دبا ( يطلق عليها الخراريف)، الحكايات الخمس هي : (فاطمة زينة العرب، يرم، حراش، سودة خصف، منوه السودة)، وهي حكايات منوعة تناولت مواضيع بعضها من قصص البحارة والجان والمخلوقات العجيبة والقصص الخيالية والتي كان مصدرها حكايات الأجداد في مدينة دبا على وجه الخصوص. شملت القصص جوانب مهمة لمجتمع الإمارات من ناحية اللهجة والأهازيج الشعبية والبيئة من أشجار ونباتات محلية وعالم البحار وما يرتبط بها من مسميات لطرق وأدوات الصيد. أعجبني أسلوب الكاتب إذ أنه سلس ومشوق وكذلك أعجبني أنه قام بتذييل الصفحات ببعض المصطلحات أو الأسماء التي تحتاج للتوضيح مثل : (المعضا : الشص الثلاثية المعقوفة والمتلاحمة، العومة: سمك السردين)
