تم إطلاق مشروع \"كتب صنعت في الإمارات\" بهدف تشجيع تطوير كتب إماراتية الصنع للأطفال واليافعين، كتبت ورسمت بأنامل إماراتية لتعكس القيم والتقاليد وثقافة دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة. ويسعى المشروع إلى بناء قدرات ومهارات الكتاب والرسامين الإماراتيين الشباب، تحت إشراف مجموعة من الرسامين المشهورين الدولي، والكتاب، والخبراء. حيث كان المشروع بالتعاون مع معهد جوته لمنطقة الخليج وتضمنت الدورات السابقة من المشروع : كتب الأطفال المصورة، وكتب اليافعين، والكوميكس، والحكايات الشعبية التراثية، والكتب الصامتة، وكتب المعنية بحقوق الطفل وسلامته.
