يضم بين دفتيه تراجم أكابر رجال مصر في عصورها المختلفة منذ الفراعنة إلى العصر الحديث، ولهذا النوع من التراجم جليل الأثر في تكوين صورة تاريخية مشرفة، وهذا يدل على بطلان الصورة الزائفة التي يضعها مؤرخو الغرب لتاريخ مصر، الذي لم يصغه حتى اليوم مؤرخ منصف بشكل علمي صحيح، اللهم إلا ما تعلق ببعض جوانب العصر الفرعوني من عصوره، فأما ما بعد ذلك من عصور فقد شوهه الساسة الأجانب لمآربهم الخاصة منذ القدم، شوهه العرب الذين خلفوا الرومان في مصر، كما شوهه نابليون حين قدومه بالحملة الفرنسية في آخر القرن الثامن عشر، ثم كان لكتاب الإنجليز بعد ذلك النصيب الأوفى من تشويهه تشويها، وما يزال هذا التاريخ هو مع الكثير من الأسف التاريخ الرسمي الذي يدرس لأبنائنا، وهو تاريخ زائف.
