أيام الشارقة تنطلق فعاليات هذا الحدث الثقافي الرائع في شهر أبريل من كل عام والذي تنظمه إدارة التراث في دائرة الثقافة والإعلام بإمارة الشارقة في أجواء احتفالية يسودها المرح والترفيه بالتزامن مع احتفالات يوم التراث العالمي الذي تنظمه اليونسكو في ال 18 من أبريل كل عام. تمثل أيام الشارقة التراثية حدثا حيويا في التراث الثقافي الإماراتي، بما توفره من مناخ مناسب لتعريف الجيل الحالي والأجيال القادمة بأصالة الماضي، وتمكينهم من استكشاف ذلك الزمن بكل ما فيه من عادات وتقاليد أصيلة تعبر عن الموروث الشعبي للأجداد، كما تعد أيام الشارقة التراثية انعكاسا واقعيا لهوية شعب دولة الإمارات وتجسيدا حيا لعراقة تاريخها الإمارات.
