هذا البحث محاولة نقدية، تهدف إلى قراءة (أسلوب الحوار الشعري) عند الشاعر المصري المعروف (أمل دنقل)، للوقوف على حقيقة هذه الظاهرة، كتقنية شعرية معاصرة، وشكل شعري بناء في أسلوبه، لأهمية دوره ووظائفه الأدبية عامّة، من رسم الشخصيات والكشف عن كوامنها النفسية، وكذلك الإفصاح عن آراء الكاتب وتطلعاته بأسلوب فني غير مباشر، فهو عامل الحيوية والتوتر للنص، ودفع الفعل الدرامي إلى الأمام، وباعث تعدد الأصوات والتخطي نحو الموضوعية ودرامية النص، وتتم دراسته في إطار مقدمة فنية للتعريف بالمنجز، وتمهيد لتفسير المصطلح وبيان وظائف الحوار في الأدب الموضوعي وفي الشعر، وثلاثة محاور دراسية لأنماطه الثلاثة، البناء المركب والبناء المسرحي والبناء البسيط، وتعقب المحاور الثلاثة خاتمة بالنتائج.
