يتناول كتاب (اللغة العربية في حقول التخصص) والذي قام بتأليفه (أحمد طاهر حسنين) في حوالي (3 مجلدات) صفحة من القطع المتوسط موضوع (اللغة العربية) مستعرضا المحتويات على أربعة محاور رئيسية وهي 1-محور لطلاب كلية الآداب، 2- محور لطلاب كلية التربية، 3-محور لطلاب كليتي الشريعة والقانون والعلوم الاقتصادية والإدارية، 4- المحور الرابع لطلاب كليات العلوم، العلوم الزراعية، الهندسية والطب والعلوم الصحية، وقد حدد المؤلف الشكل العام لهذا العمل في إطار أربع وحدات فرعية هي قراءات في التخصص، نصوص الدراسة، محاضرات للاستماع والمناقشة وتدوين الملاحظات، أنشطة بالمكتبة ومصادر المعلومات.
