بدأ الكتاب بتاريخ الشهيد مارمينا من ميامرة الثلاثه، ثم العصور التي توالت على الكنيسة ومنطقة مصر القديمة وفم الخليج من أحداث واضطرابات وتغيرات في هذه المنطقة حتى القرن العشرين من تاريخ الكنيسة، ثم شرح بالبراهين بأن كنيسة مارمينا فم الخليج كانت ديرا وبه حياة رهبانية لفترة من الزمان، ثم وصف كامل للمكان بأيقوناته وذخائره وخرائط تمثل تجديد الدير والكنائس.
