ديوان التفتاف أو حكايات بغداديات، والحكايات ملتقطة من أفواه النساء المسلمات، ولاقطها يعرف عند العرب باسم التفتاف المتفتف، جمعها على لغتها الراهب العلامة الأب انستاس ماري الكرملي وحفظها بثوبها الذي نسجت فيه وذلك حرصا منه على تدوين اللغة العامية البغدادية الإسلامية، إن هذه الحكايات هي جزء من التراث الشعبي العراقي، كما هي وصف للتقاليد والعادات والأزياء الشعبية، كما يتجلى أيضا في وصف الحلي والمصوغات والهدايا والحفلات التي تقام بمناسبة الأعراس والولائم وحفلات المولد.
