هذا كتاب معجمي رصد فيه الأخطاء اللغوية الشائعة، بقصد الإشارة إليها وتنبيه المهتمين باللغة العربية ودارسيها ؛ لأن بعض هذه الأخطاء قد يكون خافيا عليهم ؛ لذا لابد لمن يهتم بمثل هذا اللون من الدراسات أن يكون ذا حدق في اللغة العربية، وصاحب مراس طويل ؛ لتعلق مثل هذه الدراسات بمستويات اللغة العربية كافة (نحوا وصرفا، مبنى، ومعنى وتركيبا) ولا يفوتنا أن نركز على ما يسمى (بالخبرة المعجمية) فلربما تكون هذه التسمية غريبة بعض الشئ، إلا أننا نوضحها فنقول إن دارس اللغة العربية لابد له من التعامل مع معاجم اللغة العربية، وأن يؤوب إليها في كثير من شؤون اللغة ضبطا ومعنى.
