في هذا الكتاب يرصد عبدالقادر ملامح التجربة الشعرية عند نصر الله والتي أمتدت قرابة ثلاثين عاما أصدر فيها العديد من الأعمال الشعرية المتميزة التي رسخته قامة إبداعية بارزة في ساحة الشعر، والتي أسبغت عليه عدة جوائز للإبداع الشعري على المستويين القطري والعربي. ويرى عبد القادر أن أبرز ملامح هذه التجربة الشعرية كانت في إصداراته الشعرية الأولى، حيث أمتلك صوته الخاص الذي ميزه عن سابقيه ومجايليه ولاحقيه من الشعراء، فكان أن بدأ بداية شاعر واثق من موهبته ورؤاه وأدواته الفنية.
