عادة ما نجد الكثير من الكتب التى تتناول تاريخ حركة ودعوة الإخوان المسلمين وكل ما يتعلق بأفكارها وسياستها وعلاقاتها سواء بالدولة أو بالجماهير أو حتى بالدول الأخرى. ولكن مع هذا الكتاب الأمر يختلف فهو كتاب ليس عن الإخوان المسلمين وإنما منهم. ففيه يقوم الشيخ (سعيد حوى) بشرح لب دعوة الإخوان المسلمين بادئا شرحه من الأسم والجماعة وحتى الرد على الإتهامات الموجهة للدعوة، مرورا بفقه التكوين والتكميل وبعض الأضواء حول النظام والتنظيم. كذلك نجد بعض المختارات من كلام المؤسس الإمام (حسن البنا) رحمة الله وحديث حول إستشهاده وغيرها من النقاط التى وضحها المؤلف لتعريف القارئ بهذه الدعوة وحقيقتها.
