يعد السلوك الإجتماعي الإيجابي Prosocial Behavior من المصطلحات التي تم إستخدامها في علم النفس الإجتماعي ليدل على السلوك المسؤول أو السلوك المساهم المشتق من المعايير المتداخلة التي تجعل الفرد يعطي أكثر مما يأخذ. ويشتمل السلوك الإجتماعي الإيجابي كل الأساليب الموجبة من السلوك الإجتماعي الذي يُعد على النقيض من السلوك غير الإجتماعي. وعلى الرغم من أن مصطلح السلوك الإجتماعي الإيجابي Prosocial Behavior ظهر أساسا لتشخيص شكل مقبول من العدوان فإنه أصبح يستخدم ليشمل أو ليصف السلوك الذي هو على النقيض من السلوك العدواني وخاصة الإيثار، المساندة الإجتماعية، التعاطف، والمشاركة، وما زالت هذه المصطلحات تستخدم حتى وقتنا الحاضر سواء تحت مسمى الأشكال الإيجابية للسلوك الإجتماعي أو بمسمى السلوك الموافق إجتماعيا فليس هناك إختلاف بينهما.
