هذه هى الرحلة التى قامت بها روزيتا فوربس فى شتاء عامى 1920- 1921 وعبرت فيها الصحراء الليبية على ظهر جمل بحثا عن واحة الكُفرة التى كانت تقع ضمن سيطرة السيد إدريس السنوسى الذى أصبح فيما بعد ملكا لليبيا. وقد سافرت روزيتا فوربس بصحبة أحمد باشا حسانين الرحالة المصرى الذى كانت معارفه وخبراته عاملا حيويا فى نجاح هذه المغامرة.
