يتناول الرحالة الفرنسي (دي لاروك) في كتابه (رحلة إلى العربية السعيدة عبر المحيط الشرقي ومضايق البحر الأحمر) بين زبد أمواج بحر العرب، وتأرجح أشرعة سفينته على صفحات هذا الكتاب طريق مذكراته التي ظلت تلتقط تلكم المشاهد والصور لـ(العربية السعيدة) من دون أن تنسى عبق البخور اليمني الذي تقات له (صالونات) الغرب، حين تمتد أيديهم لـ(فناجين) القهوة، ممزوجة بعطر حكايات الأصول الأصول والطباع النبيلة، التي استمدها العربي من مبادئ دينه الإسلامي الحنيف. لقد كشفت مشاهد هذا القرصان الفرنسي النبيل الغطاء عن عمق التراث الأصيل، لتثبت-رغم التصلب والتعصب-أن الأمم العميقة الجذور تبقى شامخة، مهما عصفت بها رياح الزمن.‪‪‪‪‪‪‪‪‪‪‪
