يتناول كتاب (برنامج الكورت لتعليم التفكير) والذي قام بتأليفه (إدوارد ديبونو) في حوالي (6) مجلد من القطع المتوسط موضوع (تعليم التفكير) مستعرضا المحتويات التالية : المجلد الأول : توسعة مجال الإدراك، المجلد الثاني : التنظيم، المجلد الثالث : التفاعل، المجلد الرابع : الإبداع، المجلد الخامس : المعلومات والعواطف، المجلد السادس : الفعل (دليل المعلم)، (دليل الطالب). ويحوي كل مجلد وصفا للفكرة مع تطبيقات وتمارين يمكن استخدامها لتقريب الفكرة حيث يوجد بكل وحدة 10 دروس مرتبطة به وهذا يعني أن مجموع الدروس هو 60 درس وكل درس عليه تطبيقات وتمارين لتقريب المفاهيم، وصمم برنامج الكورت لتعليم الطلاب مجموعة من أدوات التفكير تساعدهم لفهم الأشياء بشكل أوضح ليبدعوا.
