يعكس كتاب (النقد والحقيقة) والذي قام بتأليفه (رولاند بارت) صورا من هذا الصراع في ميدان النقد الأدبي، حيث وقف فيه رولان بارت مسلحا بمفاهيم لسانية متطورة إزاء مفاهيم تقليدية عاش عليها الغرب قرونا طويلة، ولعل هذا الأمر يذكرنا بالصراع الذي شهده تراثنا العربي، قديما ويفتح بصائرنا لكي نتجاوز ما هو قائم حديثا، وبهذا المعنى يصبح هذا الكتاب مشروع تغيير، يخرج به القارئ والباحث من الطريق المسدود نحو ممكنات إنجازيه على الصعيدين النقدي والعلمي، كان من الصعب التفكير فيها سابقا.
