في هذا الديوان أعزائي الذي أسميناه (مثايل) يسرنا أن نقدم إليكم نخبة من هؤلاء الشعراء من أهل البادية بمثايلهم وأشعارهم التي يغلب عليها طابع البداوة والفطرة إلا أنها تصب جميعها في حفظ تراث هذا الوطن وأدب أهله وأشعارهم وتاريخهم الاجتماعي الذي عايشوه في ربوع البادية من شرقها إلى غربها ومن شمالها إلى جنوبها. نشر هذا الكتاب ونقله إلى أجيالنا الحاضرة على أمل أن تستفيد منه أجيال المستقبل ؛ نقدم إليكم أربعة من هؤلاء الشعراء يتقدمهم الشاعر الكبير حمد بالحميدي الخاصوني الكتبي، 83 عاما أطال الله في عمره، وكذلك الشاعر مبارك بن هاشل الخيصي، والشاعر سيف بن سعيد الخاصوني رحمهما الله، وأخيرة الشاعر حارب بن عبد الله مهيمير رحمه الله تعالى، وهم جميعا من منطقة مليحة بالشارقة.
