Overview
بعد أن يعرفنا هذا الكتاب على مدينة حلب وحبها للموسيقى والطرب، وبعد أن يدرس الزوايا فيها، يصنف أشكال التراث الغنائي الحلبي، فيبدأ بالموشح ثم القصيدة فالموال فالدور فالقد، ثم يقدم لنا أعلام هذا الفن الموسيقي، إلى أن يصل إلى الشيخ علي الدرويش المصري، فيقول : عرف إبراهيم والد الشيخ علي بأخلاقه الحميدة وتدينه وانتسابه إلى الطريقة المولوية التي تهتم بالإنشاد ومرافقة آلة الناي بالعزف وكذلك الآلات الإيقاعية من طبول ودفوف وصنوج وخليليات، وهذا الأمر شجع إبراهيم على رفع عقيرته في حلقة الذكر والتغني ببعض الألحان في داره.
