يتناول كتاب (تاريخ الأدباء النحاه، المسمى، نزهة الألباء فى طبقات الأدباء) والذي قام بتأليفه (أبي بركات عبد الرحمن بن محمد الأنباري) في حوالي (277) صفحة من القطع المتوسط موضوع (تراجم الأدباء والنحويين العرب) مستعرضا أبرز المحتويات التالية : أول من وضع علم العربية سيدنا علي وأخذ عنه أبو الأسود الدؤلي، سبب وضع على رضي الله عنه لهذا العلم، سبب أمر عمر رضي الله عنه لأبي الأسود بوضع هذا الفن مجيئ أبي الأسود إلى زياد وهو أمير البصرة وغلط ابنته، موت أبي الأسود ومعرفة من أخذ عنه، نصر بن عاصم الليثي.
