يعتبر كتاب (نهج البردة) للشاعر \"أحمد شوقي\" والتي تقع في حوالي (123 صفحة) من القطع المتوسط، إحدى الروائع التي كتبها أمير الشعراء، إنها القصيدة البديعة التي حاكى فيها شوقي \"بردة\" البوصيري الخالدة سائرا على نهج الشعراء القدامى في نظم قصيدته التي استهلها بالغزل قبل أن ينتقل لموضوعها الرئيسي وهو مدح النبي \"صلى الله عليه وسلم\" يقول شوقي في مطلعها : ريم على القاع بين البان والعلم أحل سفك دمي بالأشهر الحرم هكذا استهل بالغزل، ثم انتقل إلى مدح الرسول عليه أفضل الصلاة والسلام.
