إن كتاب \"جنرال ورهان\" سيقدم لك مفاتيح أسرار تلك الأيام التي كان مصير لبنان فيها على المحك، حين كان الجنرال ميشال عون في السلطة (22 أيلول 1988-13 تشرين الأول 1990) حيث تعقبته المؤلفه (كارول داغر) التي كانت آنذاك صحافية في جريدة \"لوريان- لوجور\" ثم أجرت مقابلات طويلة مع أصدقائه وأعدائه وأعدائه لتعيد تكوين سباق الأحداث. وتكمن أهمية الكتاب في سرد الوقائع التي لم تقل عند وقوع الحدث، وكذلك الأشياء التي يصعب قولها في جريدة.
