في كتاب \"ولا تنس أن السيدة لايكا تنتظرك بالبيت\"، حاول المؤلف فاضل عباس هادي أن يرسم في أكثر من ألف صفحة صورة شاملة عن عالم التصوير الفوتوغرافي في ماضيه وحاضره، وحتى في مستقبله، ولا شك أن من يريد التعريف بالكتاب سيكون حاله حال مؤلفه الذي أراد بصعوبة قصوى الإحاطة بالموضوع من جميع جوانبه عندما كان يتابع الدراسات ويزور المعارض ولا يغفل الاجتهادات الجديدة. ويحتوي الكتاب على أول مقال كتبه المؤلف عام 1987 وكان يقارن فيه بين الكاميرات الألمانية واليابانية. وآخر مقال \"لا تنس السيدة لايكا\" كتبه عام 2009.
