تقع قرية (رجال) بين منتصف المنحدر بين المنطقة الساحلية للبحر الأحمر ومرتفعات جنوب غربي المملكة العربية السعودية، وقد سلط عالم الأنثروبولوجيا (تيري موجيه) الضوء على جزء من الخيال الجماعي لهذه القرية، من خلال استكشاف الفن الجداري، الذي تمارسه النساء بطريقة استثنائية، في كامل روعته، ومن جانبها، أظهرت الرسامة (ماجالي) جينتيلوت موهبتها من خلال إحياء هذا الفن والارتقاء به بحيث يمكن أن نرى-في وجهيه التقليدي والمعاصر-نموذجين متناظرين، متجاوبين ومندمجين، يشكلان في النهاية عملا واحدا هو نفسه ؛ فشكلا بذلك الوحدة دون التوحد.
