يتناول كتاب (إبراهيم بن أدهم : شيخ الصوفية) والذي قام بتأليفه (بقلم الدكتور عبد الحليم محمود) في حوالي (153) صفحة من القطع المتوسط موضوع (تراجم المتصوفون) مستعرضا حياة إبراهيم بن أدهم بن منصور المحتويات التالية : الفصل الأول : حياته، الفصل الثاني : المحدث، الفصل الثالث : الأخلاقي، الفصل الرابع : الطريق، حيث كان إبراهيم ابن أدهم ابن حاكم بلخ في خراسان وخرج ليصطاد مرة ولكن هو على فرسه سمع نداء، ليس لذا خلقت ولا بذا أمرت أفحسبتم إنما خلقناكم عبثا وأنكم الينا لا ترجعون فوقف وقال : انبهت، انبهت فساح في الأرض، وتعلم الحديث، وعاش في الشام ومات بالجزيرة وحمل فدفن في صور وقبره بها مشهور وهناك قول بأنه دفن في جزائر البحر في بلاد الروم.
