تناول الكتاب الذي أعده الدكتور هلال حميد ساعد الكعبي، أمين عام مجلس أبوظبي للجودة والمطابقة، إلى الرؤية الثاقبة للمغفور له بإذن الله الشيخ زايد بن سلطان آل نهيان، في اهتمامه بالزراعة بشكل عام وزيادة الرقعة الخضراء، يوم كان ممثلا للحاكم في المنطقة الشرقية من إمارة أبوظبي (1946)، وعندما تولى الشيخ زايد حكم الإمارة (1966)، لم يألوا جهدا في البحث والاستعانة بالخبرات من ذوي الاختصاص من مختلف دول العالم، اتسعت رؤيته الزراعية لتصبح بعدها الإمارات جنة خضراء.
