يلقي الضوء علي جهود الأعلام من البالغين العرب من خلال ما قدموا من مؤلفات علمية مهدت الطريق أمام البحث البلاغي وأغنيته في رحلته التي بدأت من أواخر القرن الثاني الهجري تقريبا وسبق ذلك في البحث الأول تعريف بأهم المصطلحات والمفاهيم التي تتردد بين الدارسين في هذا الميدان وفي محاولة علمية لتأصيل التفكير البلاغي عند العرب شغل بحث العلاقة بين البلاغة العربية وبلاغة أرسطو حيزا كبيرا من الكتاب نظرا لما سبق أن أثاره بعض كبار الأساتذة من تأثير البيان العربي بالبيان اليوناني عند أرسطو ومن ثم كانت هذه القضية محور التمحيص والمناقشة في المبحث الثالث وكانت نظرية المحاكاة والتخيل محورالدرس والتحليل في المبحث الرابع والأخير.
