قد تطرق الكاتب في تمهيده إلى أهمية التفقه في الدين والحاجة إلى إغناء المكتبة الإسلامية بمؤلفات في الفقه والشريعة تكون في متناول عامة القراء وبأسلوب ميسر. أما الباب الأول فقد خصصه المؤلف لإخلاص النية تيمنا بما درج عليه علماء السلف من تقديم الحديث عن النية في مصنفاتهم. في الباب الثاني قدم المؤلف نظرة على العبادة ومعناها وفوائدها وبعض صورها ثم تحدث عن الطهارة وأحكامها. وفي الباب الثالث الذي حمل عنوان الصلاة عماد الدين، عرف بهذا الركن العظيم من أركان الدين وبين أهمية الصلاة وتفاصيلها سواء في الفرائض أو السنن، كما تحدث عن صلاة الجماعة والجمعة وأحكام الجنازة والنوافل والصلوات المسنونة وغير ذلك من الأحكام. وأما الباب الرابع فيتعلق بالزكاة.
