لقد حاولنا بهذه الورقات أن نخضع الشعر العربي إلى الدراسات الأدبية النقدية التي دآبت على الاقتصار على النصوص الرسمية المدونة من الأدب الفصيح. وقد سعينا من خلال ما تقدم إلى تأكيد وجود ذاكرة مشتركة رغم تشظيها بين الشعر الشعبي والشعر الفصيح تتجلى في التقاطع في العديد من الأغراض والمعاني الشعرية رغم تلك الفوارق التي تكاد تنحصر في الفرق بين اللغة الفصحى واللغة العامية أو ما يتصل بتأثير البيئة واللهجة في إنتاج الشعر الشعبي.
