Overview
الرواية في مجملها نص مفتوح على الحياة، وليست الحياة بعينها، فهي عصارة ما يقدر الروائي على نقله بحسن الاختيار والانتقاء مع ترتيب للأولويات، كما يفعل المعماري الماهر حين يؤسس ثم يعلي مداميك البناء لبنة لبنة، وهي هنا نص مفتوح على حياة قرية من قرى الجنوب تعيش آمنة مطمئنة قبل هبوب رياح التغيير وتبدل حياة الناس بعد تعرفهم إلى عوالم جديدة (فلسطين، لبنان، الخليج)، في القرية تطلع مشروع للعيش كما تتطلبه المتغيرات وهناك قوى لا تريد التغيير وهمها أن تحافظ على الواقع كما هو، وفي غياب وسائل الاتصال بالعالم الخارجي تنتعش الأوهام وتنجح الإشاعات في بناء نمطية في التفكير تظهر في سلوكيات الأفراد، وعلى الرغم من عدم ذكر اسم القرية فإنها بذلك أي قرية وربما هي الوطن كله … تكاد قمر القرية الفتاة فائقة الجمال أن تكون البطلة الوحيدة في الرواية وما عداها أشخاص عجزة ولو غطوا بأفعالهم مساحة كبيرة من أحداث الرواية.
