بعد أن ترجمنا وقدمنا له كتاب \"زيارة ذات مساء\"(منشورات خطوط وظلال)، وقد تضمن ثلاث أقاصيص طويلة في كتاب واحد هي \" راسكولنيكوف \" و \"عودة الطفل\" بالإضافة إلى تلك التي تحمل عنوان الكتاب، نعود لنقدم هنا \"نوفيلا\" جديدة للكاتب الفرنسي إيمانويل بوف بعنوان \"جريمة ليلة ما\"، كتب إيمانويل بوف (واسمه الحقيقي إيمانويل بوفنيكوف) هذا النص وهو في الرابعة والعشرين من عمره، ويميل النقاد إلى اعتباره أول نص \"كبير\" له في بداية رحلته الأدبية. نوفيلا ، تقترب بأجوائها الفانتاستيكية من مناخات كافكا، حيث نجد \"بطلها\" وهو رجل عازب في الأربعين من عمره ويعيش في الفقر المدقع، يقرر عشية ليلة عيد الميلاد، أن يهرب من الفقر والوحدة –اللتين يعيشهما- عبر محاولته التسكع في مقاهي باريس.
