هذا الكتاب هو قاموس وضعه المؤلف للكشف عما يراد الإطلاع عليه من آيات القرآن الكريم، رتبه على حروف المعجم باعتبار الحرف الأول مع ما هو أقرب إليه من الحروف حسب الإمكان، والتزم في ترتيبه أول كل آية مع علاوة جملة من الآيات وقعت في الوسط، لما لها من التداول على الآلسنة صيانة لها من الغلط، ففي هذا الدليل الآية برقمها وسورتها والجزء الذي هي فيه، مع بيان مرجع معناها من تفسير روح المعاني للعلامة الألوسي الفقيه.
