توضح المؤلفة أن الرسالة الإعلامية التي جسدها المسرح الكويتي مثلت ضرورة ملحة في مجال التنوير والتثقيف، كما كانت بمثابة قفزة واسعة لمسرح يعتبر حديثا ولكنه استطاع أن يستوعب هذه القفزة، بل اتخذ منها مصدرا دراميا خصبا لصراعات وتناقضات وتأثرات تجسدت في العلاقة الشائكة بين مختلف الشخصيات، وقد تناولت المؤلفة التوظيف الإعلامي للمضمون الاجتماعي من خلال ثلاثة فصول، دار الفصل الأول حول قضية \"الزواج والعنوسة\"، والفصل الثاني حول \"التعليم والإعلام وحرية المرأة\"، في حين سلط الفصل الثالث الأضواء الإعلامية على السلبيات الاجتماعية، ومن الواضح ان الفصول الثلاثة تتناول خطوطا متشابكة ومضفرة تشكل نسيجا اجتماعيا كان بمثابة مضمونا دراميا وإعلاميا في الوقت نفسه.
