\"ساعة الذئب\" تجربة فريدة من نوعها لشاب سوري سيق إلى الخدمة الإلزامية قبيل الثورة بفترة قصيرة، وقد تكون أول تجربة تغطي الضفة الأخرى للحرب ؛ فالكاتب امتحن الحرب بنفسه وانهمك بالكتابة عنها مغلبا الطابع الشخصي، وموقفه من الحرب التي وجد نفسه طرفا فيها، وشعوره تجاه الأحداث التي تدور في محيط متوحش. وللفرار من هذا المحيط الذي يجرده من عقله وإنسانيته يوما بعد يوم يلجأ إلى الكتابة ؛ الكتابة تحت الضغط العالي كما أطلق عليهاـ من دون وعي كاف لهذه الكتابة، لا على مستوى الشكل والقالب والجنس الأدبي لها، ولا حتى الغاية من تدوينها، إلا أنه يتنفس الحرية من خلالها ؛ بل يجد نفسه مرغما عليها خوفا من أن يفسد عقله.
