إن البحث دراسة موضوعية تحليلية لواحد من دواوين الشاعر العراقي يحيى السماوي الذي استطاع أن يحقق حضورا شعريا طيبا ليس عراقيا وعربيا فحسب، وإنما نشر شعره في الصحف والسجلات الأجنبية، وترجم إلى عدة لغات، كما أنه حصل على الكثير من الجوائز. أما الديوان موضوع دراستنا فهو ديوان (قليلك لا كثيرهن). هذا الديوان الذي حظي بكثير من الدراسات الأدبية و النقدية. وقد قسم البحث على ثلاثة محاور، وجدنا أن شعر الديوان قد توزع عليها هي : الشاعر والمرأة والوطن. وبعد دراستنا التحليلية لهذه الموضوعات، أثبتنا في خاتمة البحث أهم النتائج التي توصلنا إليها.
