يؤكد فاضل الربيعي في هذا الكتاب وجهة النظر القائلة بأن القدس الموجودة في فلسطين هي ليست اورشليم المذكورة في التوراة يستدل الربيعي على نظريته بقصص الاخباريين العرب وما تناقله الشعر العربي الأصيل من وصف لأماكن يرد اسمها في التوراة بشكل صريح فيعيد ترتيب الأماكن التي وردت في التوراة في منطقة اليمن وما جاورها ليحل اشكاليات جغرافية يعرفها كل من تعاطى مع الأحداث الواردة في التوراة، يعتمد الربيعي على التاريخ والجغارفيا في نقض الجغرافيا الاسرائيلية ليكمل ما بدأه كمال الصليبي وزياد منى في تأكيد ذات التوجه ولكنهم اعتمدوا بشكل أكبر على المقاربات اللغوية بينما اعتمد الربيعي على المقاربات الجغرافية والتاريخية بشكل أكبر.
