أصدر الخبير الاستراتيجي الدكتور إبراهيم المنيف، مدير عام شركة الكهرباء السابق، ومؤسس ومدير عام صندوق التنمية العقاري الأسبق، كتابا شيقا تحت عنوان \"النفط .. الطفرة .. الثروة .. خمسون عاما في الإدارة التنفيذية\"، يستعرض فيه ذكرياته الإدارية، والمواقف التنموية التي تعرض لها ولمحات من سيرته الذاتية. وحول الكتاب يقول الدكتور \"المنيف\" لم أفكر أبدا بداية عام 2010 بكتابة سيرتي الذاتية في العمل الإداري على مدى 50 عاما، إلا أن الظروف العامة على أرض هذا الوطن تشابهت مع الظروف العامة قبل 50 عاما بالضبط ؛ مما حرضني على كتابة السيرة الذاتية\". ويضيف: \"أريد أن أصدق القول بأنني شرحت في الكتاب تفصيل الظروف الصعبة الاقتصادية عام 1960 أو 1380 هـ، وكيف أنني جلست عاما كاملا، وتقدمت وقتها إلى 12 مسابقة وظيفية ولم أنجح في أي مسابقة.
