Overview
يشتمل هذا الكتاب على خمسة أبواب، وإن لم يسمها المؤلف نفسه أبوابا صراحة. ضم ما يمكن أن نسميه الباب الأول : تقديم الأستاذ محجوب محمد صالح الذي أشرنا إليه آنفا، إلى جانب توطئة ومدخل بقلم الكاتب. أما الباب الثاني، الذي يشكل العمود الفقري للكتاب، إذ أنه يضم عشرة فصول متسلسلة، أو مجموعة مقالات مرقمة بالتسلسل من 1 إلى 10، جاءت جميعها تحت عنوان : \"هوامش على دفتر الانفصال\"، وهو كما هو واضح عنوان يحيل مباشرة إلى اسم الديوان المشهور للشاعر نزار قباني الموسوم ب \"هوامش على دفتر النكسة\"، أي نكسة العرب وهزيمتهم أمام إسرائيل في يونيو 1967 م. أما الانفصال، فالمقصود به هاهنا، انفصال جنوب السودان عن سائر التراب الوطني في يوليو 2011 م. وأما الباب الثالث الذي جاء تحت عنوان: \"السودانوية\"، فيضم فصلين هما: تيارات مقاربات التنوع الثقافي في السودان، والسودانوية ما بين النسب والنسق على التوالي.
