يعرض كتاب أبحاث المؤتمر السنوي لتاريخ العلوم عند العرب والذي تم استضافته في جامعة حلب بسوريا الأبحاث المتنوعة في تاريخ العلوم الأساسية والتطبيقية والطبية، والتي غطت بمجملها المحاور العربية للمؤتمر، كما احتفل خلال المؤتمر بذكرى مرور ألف سنة على وفاة العالم العربي الفلكي والرياضي والكيميائي: أبو القاسم مسلمة بن أحمد المجريطي (338هـ/ 950م - 398هـ/ 1007م)، وتعتبر هذه الأبحاث مساهمة علمية هامة في الكشف عن كنوز الحضارة العربية الإسلامية وإبراز دور العلماء العرب والمسلمين في تطور العلوم والمعارف الإنسانية.
