أصدرت الهيئة العربية للمسرح، ضمن منشوراتها سلسلة وثائق تحت رقم 21، أخيراً، كتابا بعنوان «سلطان والمسرح.. كلمات. أحاديث. رسائل. وحوارات في المسرح». الإصدار أضمومة من بعض كلمات وأحاديث ورسائل وحوارات في المسرح لصاحب السمو الشيخ الدكتور سلطان بن محمد القاسمي عضو المجلس الأعلى حاكم الشارقة، والتي تمتد داخل مساحة زمنية تبدأ من 20 أبريل 1979م عندما أطلق كلمته المأثورة في قاعة إفريقيا بمناسبة عرض مسرحية «شركة العجائب» لفرقة المسرح القومي للشباب، حيث قال سموه: «آن الأوان لوقف ثورة الكونكريت في الدولة، لتحل محلها ثورة الثقافة».
