تجد في هذا الكتاب سفر ورحلات وكما قال المؤلف \" بلا بوصلة \" ... لكنه سفر في الزمان أكثر منه في المكان .. رحلات في الفكر والنقد وفي الثقافة .. بعد مقدمة أعتبرها المؤلف \" رفة جناح \" قبل الانطلاق ، يطير بنا المؤلف في رحلاته من خلال 18 فصل لكل فصل منهم بلد أو مكان خاص به، وهناك تفاوت في هذه الفصول حيث بعضها كان غاية في المتعة والفائدة .. بينما البعض الآخر فيها بعض الصعوبة في الاستمتاع بها .. والبعض الآخر كان عاديا .. بشكل عام لم تخلو الفصول من معلومات جديدة مع فكر ناقد من قبل المؤلف كتب فيه من عمق مشاعره تجاه تلك الأماكن وتاريخها وبعض رموزها.
