في هذه القصة «آداب الخصام للمبتدئين» محاولة إيجاد إجابة شافية عن بعض الأسئلة نذكر منها : كيف تنشأ النزاعات ؟ وكيف يمكننا إيجاد الحلول والتصالح بعد ذلك ؟... وغيرها. يخبرنا الكتاب عن أشهر الخصومات في التاريخ، والقضايا التي تدور حول النزاعات بين البشر، وكذلك في مملكة الحيوان. وأخيرا تستعرض القصة كيف يمكن إيجاد حلول ليعيش الجميع (تقريبا) مرة أخرى في سلام ووئام بعد فض الخصومة. ففي اختلاف الأصدقاء شماتة الأعداء. قد يتصاعد الخصام بين أي شخصين، فيكون له نتائج سلبية على المتخاصمين. لا يمكننا العيش دائما بمعزل عن الخلافات، ولا مفر من الجدال والمشاجرات أحيانا.
