تناول كتاب سامي الكيالي محاضراته من رزق الله حسون لجبرائيل دلال لعبد الرحمن الكواكبي مارا على أبو الهدى الصيادي متكلما عن آل المراش ثم بشير وكامل الغزي وميخائيل صقال ثم الشيخ راغب الطباخ وعبد المسيح الانطاكي وقسطاكي حمصي وابراهيم الكيالي وبدر الدين النعساني منهيا محاضراته بشكري كنيدر والصحفيين الحلبيين واصلا لعلي الناصر وعمر ابو ريشة وخليل هنداوي وأورخان ميسر وشارل الخوري منهيا محاضراته بمصطفى بدوي. تكلم الكيالي بشكل مفصل عن حياة ونشأة كل من هؤلاء الأدباء باسلوبه البديع مفصلا تاريخهم ومفصلا تاريخ حلب من خلالهم.
